Will Shelton became a United Methodist pastor in 2006 and has served churches of all shapes and sizes, from 15 people in rural Appalachia to the associate pastor in a large congregation. He became the lead pastor of Powell Church in July 2022. A Knoxville native, Will is also the author of Roots of Eden, a number one best-seller in Methodist Christianity on Amazon, and has written for several websites on Tennessee athletics. He is married to his wife Alex, and they are the proud parents of a son and a daughter in the church’s children’s ministry.
