It’s that time of year again where Powell Church shows love to families in our community by providing food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas along with gifts for the children in those families. This is always a great opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus right here in our community. There are many ways to serve in this ministry including sponsoring a family in need with a meal or helping serve on distribution day. Distribution Day will be on Nov 12 for the Thanksgiving baskets and on Dec 17 for the Christmas baskets. You may serve on distribution day by being a greeter, helping folks with their baskets, making your favorite hot snack to drop off, or serving food.
